Major Cities Chiefs Police Association President Montgomery County Police Chief J. Thomas Manger and Baltimore City Health Commissioner Dr. Leana Wen recorded a video, produced by the White House, about how to administer naloxone and how it can save lives so people can get the treatment they need. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration identifies Naloxone as a medication that rapidly reverses the effects of opioid overdose and is the standard treatment for overdose.
