Montgomery County government will observe the following holiday schedule for Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 18.
- County Offices – closed;
- Libraries – closed;
- Department of Liquor Control retail stores – will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m;
- Recreation – recreation and aquatic programs and facilities are open. Senior centers and administrative offices are closed.
- Montgomery Parks - visit www.MontgomeryParks.org;
- Ride On – will run a modified holiday schedule. Check on route number in this link to see the timetable for each route;
- Metrorail and Metrobus – Check the available information;
- TRiPS Commuter Stores – closed;
- County-provided refuse/recycling pickup – County-provided trash and recycling collection is cancelled. The collection will slide by one day with the last pickup on Saturday, Feb. 23;
- The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station – Open with normal hours;
- Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters – free;
- MCPS Schools and Administrative Offices – closed;
- State offices and courts – closed.
