National Preparedness Month is coming to an end but the importance of being prepared is not. With the start of school and fall sports programs, some families just didn’t have time to focus on emergency preparedness. The good news is, there is still time. Fall is a great time for emergency planning, making an emergency kit and coordinating which elderly family members and neighbors you might be able to assist during an emergency.
