Notification was provided in the previous issue of the Paperless Airplane that the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Communications Commission plan to conduct a test of the Wireless Emergency Alert and Emergency Alert System. It is currently scheduled to take place on
Thursday, Sept. 20, between 2:15 and 2:30 p.m. The Wireless Emergency Alert system could be used to transmit messages pertinent to Hurricane Florence.
