Companies and organizations developing health care or AI technologies or using cybersecurity tools to protect their manufacturing operations, their organization or other technologies can learn about local resources that may help on Monday, March 6, at a National Center for Cybersecurity Excellence (NCCOE) Cybersecurity Connections event in Rockville.
The event includes cybersecurity solutions demonstrations, a panel discussion and a networking lunch with NCCOE experts and industry partners (i.e. Bedrock Systems, Cisco, Microsoft, Motorola Solutions, Tenable).
The special event will be held from 9:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. at the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, which is located at 9700 Great Seneca Highway in Rockville. The schedule for the day will include a panel discussion on “Exploring Opportunities for Collaborative Approaches to Cybersecurity.”

The Cybersecurity Connections launch is taking place in conjunction with the renewal of the partnership agreement and signing ceremony with County Executive Marc Elrich, the director of NIST and the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Commerce. The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) is hosting the networking lunch.
Companies working in numerous areas will be able to see demonstrations and meet with NCCOE experts. Those areas include healthcare, identity, genomic, manufacturing, supply chain, critical infrastructure, AI, telecommunications, public safety, mobile security, workforce development, zero trust architecture and the internet of things.
