Local Team Honored for Accomplishments in South American Youth Soccer Tournament
County Executive Ike Leggett recently recognized members of the Alianza Lima de Maryland Soccer Team that competed in the South American Youth Soccer Tournament in Lima, Peru. As the only U.S. entry in the competition, the locals finished fourth against teams from around the world. Team members are middle and high school students in Montgomery County public schools
