Gilchrist Center in the Gaithersburg Library

Montgomery County Public Libraries Director Parker Hamilton (red jacket) welcomed the family of former County Executive Charlie Gilchrist at the Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity Open House held in conjunction with the grand reopening of the Gaithersburg Library on January 4. The newest branch location of the Charles W. Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity has opened in the newly renovated and reopened Gaithersburg Library at 18330 Montgomery Village Ave.

Overall, the center provides activities and services to the County's diverse community and functions as a central point of contact for residents to County and other community services.

The Gaithersburg location is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
