Bandeh began his career in Montgomery County as the Assistant Director of the Upcounty Regional Service Center Director in 2006. He served as Vice Chair of the Governor of Maryland’s Commission for African Affairs from 2009 – 2015 advocating for the needs of the African and diaspora communities in Maryland. He established the African Affairs Advisory Group to advocate for the needs of the African community.
