Montgomery County’s Department of Police will host a free Autism/IDD Night Out event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. The event will include information for caregivers, parents, loved ones and community members who want to learn more about autism. The event will be held at Montgomery County’s Public Safety Training Academy located at 8751 Snouffer School Road in Gaithersburg. In addition to the safety resources, there will be information about community-based support program. The Go Team Therapy dogs and the K-9 Unit, officers from each district station and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel will be on hand.
