Montgomery Parks will host one more evening of music, beer and food in its series of winter events in local parks that are suitable for all family members (excluding the beer part). There is no charge for admission for the “Acoustics and Ales” happy hour event that will be held on Friday, March 4, at Acorn Urban Park in Silver Spring. There are charges for beer, food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Acorn Urban Park is located at 8060 Newell St. in Silver Spring. Acoustics and Ales will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. The craft beer vendor at the event will be Silver Branch Brewing. The food vendor will be the Big Greek Food Truck. The musical guest will be Ted Garber.
Advance registration is not required. The park is accessible by public transportation.
Due to County guidelines, alcohol sales will end at 7 p.m. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leashes and picked up after.
