World-renowned pianist Brian Ganz will highlight the opening of the Gaithersburg Arts Barn’s 2023-24 concert series on Saturday, Sept. 9, in an event that will include an arts fundraiser and reception.
The evening will start at 6:30 p.m. with a special reception followed by the concert at 8 p.m. The reception will include hors d’oeuvres and desserts by French bistro Laperaux and wine followed by an intimate concert featuring an all-Chopin program. The concert will include special requests (music by Chopin) from the audience.
Widely regarded as one of the leading pianists of his generation, Brian Ganz has made it his mission to join vivid music making with warmth and intimacy onstage. The combination produces a new kind of listening experience.
Tickets for the opening night will contribute to the purchase of a new concert piano and expanded music programming for the Gaithersburg community as part of the Arts Barn Legacy Campaign. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased here. Donation opportunities are available here. Learn more about the Legacy Campaign here.
