The 15th annual Silver Spring Jazz Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8 at Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring.
Dianne Reeves, a five-time Grammy winner headlines the festival. Other musical acts include the Jazz Academy of Music, The Charles Woods Quintet, Akua Allrich and the Tribe, and Marcus Johnson.
The free festival takes place from 3 to 10 p.m. in front of the Silver Spring Civic Building.
