“Salsa at the Plaza” is held on the third Tuesday of each month. Another salsa event will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 20. SSTCi also presents Latin Dancing with AM Salsa & Dance In Time, with its next event on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Veterans Plaza is located adjacent to the Silver Spring Civic Building at 1 Veterans Pl. in Silver Spring.
Salsa on the Plaza provides an opportunity to learn fabulous dance moves and put them to practice in the energetic and vibrant atmosphere of Downtown Silver Spring.
All levels of dancers can enjoy Salsa on the Plaza—including those with no or little experience.
Potomac-based All Out Danza provides expert and authentic Latin social dance instruction where inclusiveness and active social engagement are the primary focus. Choreographer Maysonet has more than 20 years of experience as a professional dancer and instructor.
Born in Puerto Rico, Víctor was raised surrounded and influenced by many music and dance rhythms. Building on the roots of Puerto Rican folklore, and greatly influenced by pop culture, early on he began to expand his repertoire of dance styles to include Afro-Caribbean, Latin, social and ballroom dances.
Víctor is a member of the first generation of instructors and choreographers who began the evolution and introduction of this neo genre to salsa conferences and festivals around the globe.
