The workshops are open to participants aged 12 and up. Building a tiny house is a great way to revisit memories or explore hopes and dreams.
Marcie Wolf-Hubbard's colorful collages are about the feelings and memories attached to places she has been or to which she can imagine having gone. Each postcard in Ms. Wolf-Hubbard's work becomes a piece of a story that might have been. Colors flow from her imaginings to breach the borders of the Mediterranean Sea or to bridges, roads and canals.
Ms. Wolf-Hubbard studied at the Fine Art and Illustration at the Maryland Institute, College of Art. Her paintings have been exhibited widely on the East Coast. She has illustrated for magazines and books and worked as a courtroom artist. She is an instructor at Glen Echo Park, Yellow Barn Studio, and Smithsonian Associates. She also teaches art in her studio.
Found objects and small items from home or nature could be part of a tiny house creation.
