Addressing a packed room of more than 700 at the Silver Spring Civic Building on February 20, County Executive Ike Leggett presented his State of the County address, recapping the broad progress achieved, in spite of the fiscal challenges of the past years, and outlining steps and initiatives to carry Montgomery County successfully into the “Knowledge Economy.”
