Volunteers Makes a Difference for Manna Food Center

Manna Food Center provides food to 40,000 individuals annually and helps distribute rescued food to soup kitchens, food pantries and emergency shelters county-wide. Manna coordinated two beneficial service projects for dedicated volunteers on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Volunteers made 100,000 meals which consisted of rice, beans and other savory ingredients and collected nearly 30,000 pounds of food at 27 Giant stores across the County.
