‘A Winter Solstice Community Art Show’ Online Discussion Will Celebrate the Changing of Seasons on Thursday, Dec. 21

Since ancient times, the Winter Solstice has been revered by numerous cultures around the globe. At 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, Silver Spring Town Center, Inc. will assemble artists from many visual mediums to share their work in a free online presentation inspired by the stark and stunning imagery of winter in a gathering on the darkest day of the year.

“A Winter Solstice Community Art Show” will be hosted by SSTCi Executive Director Lisa Martin via Zoom from 7-9 p.m.

Artists who want to display their theme-appropriate works can submit up to four images that will be displayed in the presentation. Work can be submitted by Monday, Dec. 18, to lisa@silverspringtowncenter.com

Everyone is welcome to join the virtual community art show to enjoy work by local artists in celebration of the wonders of winter. It is free to join whether as an exhibiting artist or spectator, but advance registration is required. via the Zoom link.
