  1. Why ALL MoCo Community recreation facilities closed not only December 25 and January 1 as all other County facilities, but also, December 26, 27, 28,. 29, 30 and 31?

    1. Thanks for asking. First, please note that the aquatic centers are open, with programs operating on a modified schedule. Residents wanting to take advantage of the opportunity might consider just checking ahead before going. Regarding the closing of the community, neighborhood and senior centers that has occurred in past years, Recreation staff note several reasons. No regular programs are scheduled for this time period, there are very few customers just dropping in during the holiday season, and it provides a chance for any needed maintenance issues to be addressed.
