Rockville Science Center Offering STEM Summer Camps

The Rockville Science Center is offering a full schedule of summer camps for students ages 7-13, with each week having two different topics (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) for budding scientists and engineers to explore.

Camps run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, but have limited space. More information about the camps and how to sign up is available at the Rockville Science Center website.

The Rockville Science Center is located at 36C Maryland Ave. in Rockville.

A new camp added this summer from Aug. 12-16 will feature “Decoding Your DNA and Robotics Challenge.” Campers will explore the world of microorganisms and cell structure in the morning and then have fun building, programming and operating a LEGO Mindstorms robot with different sensors.
