Montgomery Art Association Exhibit Returns to Benjamin Gaither Center in Gaithersburg
The Montgomery Art Association (MAA) member exhibition is now on display at the Benjamin Gaither Center in Gaithersburg through March 26. The featured artists will be available at a free reception from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.
The Benjamin Gaither Center is located at 80-A Bureau Drive and is open from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Fridays. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
The Montgomery Art Association is a nonprofit organization supporting the visual arts and artists in Montgomery County and the D.C. metropolitan area. It provides opportunities for its 350 members to display and sell their work. The association offers field trips, plein air painting outings, business workshops, art-themed social events and monthly meetings with noteworthy guest speakers.
The exhibit features 29 pieces in a wide variety of mediums. Featured artists include Ken Bachman, Leonid Bendersky, Rick Bowers, Holly Buehler, Jennifer Crouch, Janet DeWoskin, Elizabeth Elgin, Raeesa Farshori, Susanna Goldman, Amoretta Hoeber, Hiral Joshi, Anastasiya Kavalenka, Alan Kolnik, Ruth Lampi, Maria Elena Lazarte, Judith Levine, Ekaterina Linde-Kogan, Rahela Majidi, Mark McAlister, Dora Patin, Cindy Renteria, Alan Rich, Elaha Soroori, Alexandra Treadaway-Hoare, Christena Turner, Carl F. Tyner, Rosemary Yue, Lisa Zadravec, and Patricia Zannie.
All of the included artwork is for sale and all images are copyrighted by the artists.
