Free summer concerts will be happening in Rockville Town Square from 6-9 p.m. most Friday nights through Sept. 20. The series will feature a variety of performers. The next performance will feature the Natty Beaux Swing Band on July 19.
The fun-lovin', finger-snappin', hoppin' and boppin' Natty Beaux Swing Band features musicians from some of the Mid-Atlantic Region's finest groups including Billy Coulter of the Billy Coulter Band. It also has musicians who performed with local favorites The Junkyard Saints and Alexandria Kleztet.
The boys in the band include Seth Kibel (sax), Brian Simms (keyboards/vocals), Billy Coulter (lead vocals), Louie Newmyer (bass), Andy Rutherford (guitar) and Andy Hamburger (drums).
The bandmembers bring diverse styles ranging through roots rock, Zydeco, rockabilly, Klezmer and jazz that blend together brilliantly. The band members have a common love for classic jump blues, swing and rockabilly.
