All concerts take place from 6:30-8 p.m. Concerts are weather-dependent. Check the City’s website or social media for updates.
The City Hall Concert Pavilion is located at 31 South Summit Ave. in Gaithersburg.
Tom Corradino (Little Red) has been on the Azalea City Recordings label based in Takoma Park. He has appeared with Dr. John, Buckwheat Zydeco, Nathan Williams & the Zydeco Cha-Chas, T-Bone Burnett, Chubby Carrier, Queen Ida, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Brave Combo, Rosie Ledet and others.
In addition to Little Red, on the accordion, piano and guitar, the band includes Carol Arthur {Zydecaribbean steel pans, piano), Antoine Sanfuentes (drums), Dave Petersen, (bass), Harry Rado (guitar) and Jon Danforth, (drums emeritus ).
The band regularly plays in a wide range of venues throughout the Washington Region. It has also played at SXSW in Austin, the New Music Seminar in Manhattan and at the Kennedy Center.
The concert series this summer is partnering with Saints Row Brewing to provide on-site beer sales and food trucks. It is suggested that attendees bring a blanket or low-back chair for lawn seating.
