County law enforcement agencies and the Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse Prevention Office will be participating in the
National Prescription Drug Take-Back day at multiple locations on Saturday, April 30 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This is a safe, free and anonymous opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by safely disposing of unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs. This initiative is part of a national effort to prevent the increasing problems of prescription drug abuse and theft.
