Longwood Community Recreation Center to Close for ADA Improvements Through Winter 2022

Montgomery County Recreation's Longwood Community Recreation Center will close for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) remediation work on Monday, Aug.9. The work will improve ADA access to the Center. The facility is expected to reopen in winter 2022.

The project will include floor elevations, upgraded bathroom access, millwork compliance and various other remediations.

Residents are encouraged use nearby Bauer Drive and the Ross Boddy Community Recreation Centers for many of the activities that had been scheduled at Longwood Community Recreation Center. Facility memberships may be used at any community recreation facility.

Visit the MCR website for updates on the reopening schedule.
