‘In Search of Ghosts: Montgomery County’ Will Be Theme of Lecture and Story-Telling Hosted by Montgomery History on Tuesday, Oct. 19

October is here, the change of seasons is in full swing and Halloween is approaching. Montgomery History is finding this to be the right time to host a lecture on “In Search of Ghosts: Montgomery County.” Karen Yaffe Lottes will lead the online discussion and story-telling starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

The adventure explores haunted places of Montgomery County and its surrounding area through ghostly tales. Learn about the many ghosts, apparitions and supernatural occurrences that cannot be explained logically.

Ms. Lottes will expose listeners to the Headless Horseman who continues to terrorize visitors to the old railroad bridge; the poltergeist that haunts the Madison House; the Tommyknocker at the Maryland Mine; and the farmer who keeps searching for his buried treasure.
