Free Virtual Employment Expo for Residents 50-and-Over to be Held on Tuesday, Jan. 11


A free virtual employment expo for residents 50-and-over will be held starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11. Advance registration is required to participate.

The series of expos is sponsored by the Jewish Council for the Aging and Montgomery County.

The expo schedule on Jan. 11 will include:
  • 10-11:45 a.m.: Workshops with questions via Zoom chat. Speakers will be Richard Ross of Manpower/Manpower Mature and Elisse Barnes of a Certain Vintage Workforce Education, LLC.
  • Noon-2 p.m.: Area employers will talk about their companies/organizations and employment opportunities. They also will answer questions from jobseekers. After each employer presentation, expo participants will have the opportunity to network directly with the employers in Chat.
Residents can register at https://virtualexpos.accessjca.org. Once registered, participants will receive an email confirming their registration and a zoom link for the expo.
