Public Libraries to Delay Restoration of Sunday Hours of Branch Service Due to COVID-19

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will delay the restoration of Sunday branch service hours that was scheduled to begin this week due to the increased spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant.

The hours of operation at all MCPL branches, except Maggie Nightingale (Poolesville) and Noyes Library for Young Children, will be:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The hours and schedule for Maggie Nightingale (currently closed for refresh) and Noyes libraries will remain as they currently stand.
