The ninth annual Montgomery County Energy Summit, which will take place in-person (and virtually) on Tuesday, April 5, at the Silver Spring Civic Building and fully virtual on Wednesday, April 6, will this year include its first-ever “Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive Event.”
The Energy Summit will be hosted by the County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in partnership with the US Green Building Council National Capital Region (USGBC NCR).
New for this year, USGBC and DEP welcome DARCARS Automotive Group as the 2022 Energy Summit’s exclusive automotive sponsor. DARCARS Automotive Group will host the Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive Event on April 5. The event will feature the newly released Polestar and other electric vehicle models.
"DARCARS is excited to partner with Montgomery County on this important initiative with the hope that the community will have an opportunity to experience the excitement that the future EV market holds," said DARCARS Automotive Group's COO Jamie Darvish.
The Energy Summit offers cutting-edge education on the latest trends in green building, energy efficiency, renewable energy and related commercial, multifamily and residential topics in Montgomery County.
Ticket prices for the Summit are $85 for in-person and online attendance. All education sessions will be submitted for GBCI and AIA continuing education credits. Advance registration runs through the morning of April 4. Tickets will be available at the Civic Building on April 5.
