Strategies and Tactics of Chess Taught Every Tuesday when ‘Bauer Bishops’ Meet at Bauer Drive Recreation Center in Rockville

If chess interests you—and especially if it does not (at least right now)—an opportunity awaits to learn more about the game by joining the “Bauer Bishops” every Tuesday at the Bauer Drive Community Recreation Center in Rockville.

The club meets every Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. in the art room at the Bauer Drive Center, which is located at 14625 Bauer Drive in Rockville. The Bishops are open to those 12-and-over.

Those joining the Bishops will learn the strategy, tactics, and functions of chess in a constructive and organized atmosphere. The goal of the organization is to expand access to chess to people of all backgrounds, skill levels and interests.
