Wheaton Arts Parade Gallery at Westfield Wheaton Will Celebrate Opening of New Exhibit ‘Emerge’ on Saturday, March 12

The Wheaton Arts Parade Gallery at Westfield Wheaton will celebrate the opening of its new exhibit, “Emerge,” with a reception from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 12. The opening will include live jazz music by the Steve Ragsdale Trio.

Wheaton Westfield is located at 11160 Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton. The gallery is near Entrance 11. The Emerge exhibit will be on display through April 24.

The reception is free and open to the public. The artists will be available to discuss their works.

The new exhibit features the original work of 17 local artists and their impressions of "emerge." For some, it is the seasonal transition from winter to spring, to longer days and new growth. For others, it is about identity and self-realization.

The gallery is an intimate indoor venue and will require attendees to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and ID to enter. Masks must be worn while in the gallery.

The gallery is regularly open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

The gallery space is donated by Westfield Wheaton as part of its support for the Wheaton Arts Parade, whose mission is to bring the community together with art and to help Wheaton realize its potential as an Arts and Entertainment District.

More information about the Wheaton Arts Parade Gallery is available at the gallery’s website.
